This summer we will offer two great mission opportunities for youth at Trinity. Both events are building on good work begun last summer by our EYC. In June we will take a group of Sr. High youth back to Camp Victor in Ocean Springs, Mississippi to work with Lutheran /Episcopal Disaster Services.

In July we will take Jr. and Sr. High youth back to Forrest City, Arkansas to participate in the second Delta Youth Mission. In order to make these trips possible, we need to raise some money. So… we are throwing a party!

On May 12th Trinity EYC will host a Crawfish Boil to help pay for our Summer trips. Invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, grandparents, godparents, anybody who will come eat! Prices will be $25 for Adults, and $10 for Kids.

That will include boiled crawfish, potatoes, corn and hot dogs for the children (if they won’t eat crawfish), lemonade, and iced tea. Adult beverages will be offered separately.

If you have questions, or are willing to help, please contact the Rev. Stephen Kidd by email or at 501- 837-7740.

Over the course of the week the Cathedral itself undergoes a dramatic transformation as we fill the space with marks of our story. This year’s theme is “Do the Desert!” recalling the Israelites’ 40 year trek through the wilderness, and their discovery of the promised land!

Cathedral Camp runs Monday – Friday, from 9am – Noon, for children 4 years old through 5th grade. For more information or to volunteer please contact Dawn Howe, the Rev. Stephen Kidd or contact the church office at 501-372-0294.

A very special “Thank You!” to all the volunteers who made Holy Week and Easter Sunday such a beautiful, holy and fun time in the life of the Cathedral!

We had numerous people give generously of their time and talents. From our gifted choir’s offerings of sacred music, to our lay weeders who helped bring a new spring splendor to the grounds, palm cross makers, and egg stuffers, who did quiet behind the scenes work to make it all run smoothly, we are all grateful for your presence among us. As always our vergers, acolytes and altar guild served and executed their functions flawlessly. Thank you so much from all of us, we couldn’t be more pleased.

Jesus Christ is risen indeed! Alleluia!
