Worship in the Episcopal Church is conducted according to the order set down in the Book of Common Prayer and its supplements as approved by the General Convention of the Episcopal church. Part of this order includes a set of readings and prayers (called “collects”) to be used in worship.

This calendar of readings and prayers is called a “lectionary.”  It includes readings for each Sunday of the year, as well as other Holy days and observances.
