Trinity Cathedral will host the Turtle Creek Chorale for a concert on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Based in Dallas Texas, the Turtle Creek chorale was established in 1980 with 30 singers and now boasts a membership of over 200 voices. The choir has toured both internationally and throughout the United States and has produced a number of recordings. TCC is now conducting its Friendship Tour, a series of performances in the Mid-South and West, predominantly in parish church settings of various denominations. Although predominantly comprised of gay men, the Turtle Creek Chorale opens membership to all men, regardless of sexual orientation. With this summer’s Friendship Tour, the Turtle Creek Chorale seek as musical ambassadors to express to its audiences the importance of community building, the sense of inclusion of all persons, and the dismantling of barriers that inhibit personal interaction, mutual support, and love of neighbor. Trinity Episcopal Cathedral is proud to host this talented, mission-minded group of artists and to support their efforts in conveying a vital message we share: of unity, affirmation, love, and acceptance.
The concert is free of charge, but tickets are required and may be procured through the TCC website, www.TurtleCreekChorale.com. For more information, please contact Jason Pennington-Saugey at Trinity Epsicopal Cathedral, Little Rock, email@example.com or by telephone (501) 372-0294.
