A Living Church: Transformed by Christ

Sundays at 9:15 am, Morrison Hall
Led by the Very Rev. Andrea McMillin

Trinity Cathedral is a vibrant expression of the Body of Christ, and we are called to invite, welcome, and connect our neighbors more deeply into that life. As a resurrection people, we share in the ongoing work of becoming a living church formed by grace, grounded in community, and sent out in love.

In this Easter season, as we proclaim the resurrection of Jesus, we at Trinity Cathedral will gather to explore how we are continually being renewed and transformed as the Body of Christ in this place. Together, we will reflect on how we grow as a community, how we are shaped as disciples, and how God calls us to live Christ-shaped lives in the world.

Andrea as our new Dean and Rector will lead us along with guest presenters as we listen, learn, and discern together.

Book Club: Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church by N. T. Wright

Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, Conference Room

What do Christians believe about life after death? In this famous and accessible book, N. T. Wright gives an account of the Christian hope while also debunking many misunderstandings about the resurrection of the dead. This will be a wonderful class for the Easter season. Weekdays Ongoing

Breakfast and Bible Study

Mondays, 7 am – 8 am
Community Bakery on Main Street
Join the Rev. Thomas Alexander and other Trinity parishioners at our local Community Bakery as we begin the week by sharing breakfast and discussing the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday. Our Monday preparations make Sundays even more meaningful. To learn more, contact the Rev. Thomas Alexander (thomas@trinitylittlerock.org).

SAGEing Group

Second Tuesdays at 1 p.m. (beginning September 9)
Baker Parlor in Keller House
As part of our ministry with seniors, our SAGEing Group is open to all who are 60+ years of age. This small group offers a safe, respectful place to explore and share what is deeply meaningful for our journey from aging to SAGEing. This will be a time of learning, growth, and reflection. We are seeking a focus on the spiritual journey of aging. We are redefining “aging” as we explore our inner wisdom, share our life stories and insights, learn from traditional and contemporary thinkers, and wrestle with our questions. We embrace the season of life we are in and savor our good times and our difficult times.  We are SAGEing on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm in Baker Parlor. To learn more or to sign up, contact Jean Harper (501-607-6143, harper4188@comcast.net).

Men’s Group

Third Thursday of the month, 8 am – 9 am
Baker Parlor in Keller House
Join Bert Parker and other men of the parish for fellowship, mutual support, and prayer in a small group setting. This Men’s Group meets weekly instead of monthly during the season of Lent. To learn more, contact Bert Parker (hjparkerlr@gmail.com).

Young Adults’ Group

Join fellow parishioners in their 20s and 30s for a monthly time of dinner and fellowship. This group gathers each month at one of the member’s homes. To sign up, contact the Rev. Thomas Alexander

Upcoming Workshops

The Catechumenate

Sundays in Lent and Easter, 5 pm – 6:30 pm
beginning February 22, 2026
Lounge in Keller House
The “Catechumenate” (an ancient Greek word for “instruction”) is an annual, several-week-long process by which adults who desire a deeper life in Christ prepare for Holy Baptism (full initiation into the Church), Confirmation (for those who are baptized), Reaffirmation (for those who are baptized and confirmed but desire to reaffirm their faith), or Reception (for those who were baptized in another denomination of the Church but desire to be received into the Episcopal Church). This small-group gathers weekly through Lent and Easter to share an evening meal, to pray together, and to study the Christian faith and life. The Catechumenate begins on Sunday, February 22 and the Cathedral will celebrate Holy Baptism, Confirmation, Reaffirmation, and Reception on Sunday, May 10. To learn more or to sign up, contact the Rev. Thomas Alexander (thomas@trinitylittlerock.org).
