Baptism at Trinity
We are delighted to offer the Sacrament of Baptism to anyone in our parish who has added a child to their family. This is a joyous occasion where the entire congregation celebrates the addition to our parish family and to the Body of Christ.
We regularly have baptisms on the days appointed for the occasion in the Book of Common Prayer:
- All Saints’ Sunday (November)
- Baptism of Our Lord (Early January)
- Easter Vigil (Spring)
- Trinity Sunday (Early Summer)
Additional dates may be arranged by contacting the Parish Office. Baptism preparation for parents and godparents will be scheduled before each baptism date.
Children younger than 4 are welcome in the bright, sunny, well-staffed nursery. It is open from 8:30 a.m. until the end of the 10:30 a.m. service.
The nursery is also open during some other services and special events. Contact the office at (501) 372-0294 to confirm the availability at special services.
The Nursery is located in Parish House. Parish House is the building behind the Cathedral including Morrison Hall. You can walk straight across the Garth (brick courtyard) and enter the glass doors, or you can exit the Cathedral through the back doors (where the procession enters and exits) through the connecting hallway past the vesting area. Parish House is labeled number 3 on our Campus Map.
If you enter through Morrison Hall, turn right and the Nursery is about halfway down the hallway on your right.
If you enter through the back of the Cathedral, take the connecting hallway all the way to the stairs going to the second floor and turn left just before the stairs. The Nursery is about halfway down this hallway on your left.
