Youth

Trinity EYC

The Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) serves, forms, and empowers youth in their transition between childhood and adulthood as peoples of the Episcopal Church. EYC serves 6th-12th graders through programming that provides fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth in a safe and loving environment.

Youth Programs & Events

Youth Formation Hour - Sunday mornings, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Every week we share an hour together as a youth community to check-in about our lives, pray, and discuss the Gospel over coffee and donuts. We gather in Morrison Hall before heading up to the Crow’s Nest (Youth Room above the gym).

Episcopal Youth Collab

EYCollab is an Episcopal youth group for all 6th-12th graders in Central Arkansas sponsored by St. Margaret’s, St. Michael’s, & Trinity Cathedral. We gather weekly in a supportive environment where youth can grow, learn, and serve in their community and communities of faith. For more information: www.eycarkansas.org/eycollab

Youth Acolytes

6th – 12th grade

Youth acolytes faithfully serve at our Sunday morning Eucharist and other special services.
Their role includes assisting at the altar, carrying processional crosses, torches, and banners, and lighting candles. New acolytes are trained and commissioned in the early fall.

Confirmation Class

Spring Semester

Confirmation is offered for baptized youth who are ready to make “a mature public affirmation of faith” and “a commitment to the responsibilities of their baptism” and to receive the laying on of hands by the Bishop.
Youth participate in an overnight retreat, attend worship together and meet with a mentor to prepare for this sacrament in the church.

Pastoral Care

We are here to be a supportive community to one another, especially in times of need. The Youth Minister and clergy are available for confidential pastoral conversations with youth and their families as needed. Please reach out to us directly to set up a time to meet.
