Tower Bell Tolls to Commemorate 25th Anniversary of 9/11

Friday, September 11 at noon

Trinity’s massive tower bell “The General” will toll 25 times at noon on Friday, Sept. 11, to mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. William Hronas , a member of the Trinity Cathedral Ringing Society, will ring the 1,009-pound tenor bell. 

Prior to the tolling, the Very Rev. Andrea McMillin will offer opening remarks and prayers. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.
