Vocal Recital
February 21, 2022

Friday, March 11th at 7 pm
Connor Lidell in Concert
Come hear award-winning baritone singer Connor Lidell in a free concert at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Connor is in demand for operatic roles nationwide, and also enjoys an eclectic musical career including musical theatre, choral music, session singing, and teaching a large vocal studio. An accomplished pedagogue, his students have gone on to receive professional theatre contracts and have been on national tours. While in Little Rock, the Trinity Choir will have the opportunity to benefit from Connor’s expertise in vocal technique and vocal health; he will lead our choir in rehearsal on Thursday, March 10th and will conduct the choir at eucharist and evensong on March 13th. Dr. Stephen Dubberly will accompany this recital.

2022 Vestry Elections
January 13, 2022
Voting for Vestry Nominees
The Annual Meeting for Trinity Episcopal Cathedral will open on Sunday, January 23 during the 8 a.m. service. The nominees for Vestry will be introduced at this and all subsequent services. Nominations will be taken from the floor at the 8 a.m. service only.
Voting will begin after this service and continue through the 4 p.m. Choral Evensong service. In deference to the pandemic, we will have an electronic voting option on January 23. You will receive a link to vote through REALM.
Those eligible to vote are as follows according to Canon 24, Section 4:
“All worshipers of not less than 16 years of age, being communicants in good standing and regular contributors of record, or members of family groups which are regular contributors of record, for the support of the parish, and who shall have been canonically connected with the parish for thirty days prior to the date on which the parish meeting is held. This provision as to financial support shall not apply to those communicants who are unable to contribute. Those voters so qualified and being present at the parish meeting shall constitute a quorum.”
Children's Choir Resumes
November 21, 2021
The Trinity Children’s Choir resumes Wednesday, December 1! This ministry is a fantastic opportunity for children in grades 2-8 (and their parents) for many reasons, including:
- Free musical education: learning to read music and sing with good technique and confidence
- Religious education: learning about Christianity and Christian values
- Building teamwork and listening skills
- Making new friends
- Singing alongside our adult singers
- Free babysitting every week!
We Episcopalians are fortunate to have a beautiful and unique musical tradition, and to be good stewards of that tradition, we must share it with future generations. Rehearsals will be 90 minutes and will take place on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. As we first get started, the Children’s Choir will only sing once a month or so, but as their skills develop, it is my hope that they will sing every other week. I’m relying on you, our parishioners, to help spread the word about this great opportunity. It is not necessary for participants or their families to be Episcopalian. If you, your child, and/or a child you know are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to me at colin@trinitylittlerock.org.
