Dean Search Committee Update Sept 4

The Search Committee has completed all parish visits, both to those we decided to visit and from those whom we asked to visit us. 

The next step is to followup with the Bishop’s office and to counsel with the Vestry. We plan to have a final recommendation soon, and then to communicate that recommendation to the parish family. The schedules of Bishop Benfield and the Bishop of the recommended candidate will dictate progress on this step. As we make that progress, please continue to pray for the knowledge of God’s will for us and the power to carry that out.

Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a rector for this parish, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
