Independence Day Celebration at St. Margaret's!
June 20, 2016

Thursday June 30th, 6 p.m., at St. Margaret's, Little Rock
St. Margaret’s will host our annual celebration of Independence Day with a festive Holy Eucharist at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 30th. The guest homilist will be Sophia Said, the Program Director for the Interfaith Center of St. Margaret’s. Mrs. Said works as a strategic planner and community organizer to bring people of different faiths together toward a better understanding of each other. She is the founder of the Multi-Faith Youth Group of Little Rock, and a graduate of the Clinton School of Public Service.
Following the service, the Men's Group will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers outside on the grounds. There will be games and fun activities for all to enjoy. There will also be a parade... so decorate your bikes, wagons, golf carts, etc., and bring them out for the occasion! Seating will be limited for the picnic, so please bring your lawn chairs.
