Trinity Episcopal Cathedral's Madrigal Feaste

On Wednesday, December 28 at 6:00 p.m. in Morrison Hall, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral will present a traditional celebration of the Yule Tide Season. This fundraiser for the Music Department will entertain and delight with acting, music, and a delicious dinner. Fully costumed and presented in the Medieval Castle of Morrison Hall, you will be wined and dined as guests of the King and Queen.

The traditional dinner will feature roasted pig (pork loin), root vegetables, wassail, and tipsy pudding. Limited seating available.

The Madrigal Feaste will also include a mini-auction. Items include:

  • A private concert. You and 20 of your invited guests will be entertained by Arkansas Symphony Concertmaster Kiril Laskarov in an intimate concert entitled "Russian Winter Nights".  The Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto which will be performed this winter by Mr. Laskarov with symphony orchestras throughout the country will be available for a preview performance for your invited audience, using a beautiful piano accompaniment in place of the orchestra.  Mr. Laskarov will begin with a pre-concert lecture, taking the audience through intimate information about this exquisite concerto.  The concert will include a vodka/caviar reception. The “Russian Winter Night” concert is available for January 21, 2017 for the private audience of the winning bidder, hosted at the home of Jane Wilson. $5000 value. Opening bid $500.
  • Four Waterford Crystal wine glasses.  $700 value. Opening bid $150.
  • One and one half hours of silver polishing by the premier Silver Polisher Rees Roberts.  Opening bid $50.
  • A Spring Garden Brunch for 12. $1500 value. Opening bid $500.
  • $1000 in catering from Scott Johnson Catering. Opening bid $300.
  • An "International Tea Time" basket, including Twinings tea, a certificate for Greek baklava, and a handmade Italian leather journal. $300 value. Opening bid $50.
  • One week at Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos.  You choose the week in 2017 (excludes last 2 weeks of the year) based on availability.  Contact Annie Burton at Trinity for help in booking.  Airfare and transportation not included. New Year's Day at Trinity Cathedral:

On New Year's Day, morning service is at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Amber Carswell will be preaching. There are no Formation classes. Evensong service will be at 4:00 p.m.
