Exploring Mary's Call

Join artist, theological seeker, and Cathedral parishioner Lisa Thorpe in beginning your Advent with Mary: thinking about her call, her courage, and her choice. We explore this by reading the text and looking at images of the annunciation through the lens of art through the ages. The retreat culminates in the creation of a glass bowl collage with Mary at the center and the option to weave the words from the Magnificat through. We will reflect on our own openness to being a container for God.

 

This retreat includes meditation, movement, and art making. $25 for registration, material, and lunch.
