Schedule:

Cherub Choir at 4:30 p.m.
Eucharist with Healing at 5:05 p.m.
Dinner 5:15 – 6:15 p.m.
Tower Bell Ringers at 6:00 p.m.
Seraphim Choir at 6:15 p.m.
Classes for all ages at 6:15 p.m.

Class Descriptions:

  • An Introduction to the Bible (Morrison Hall): This class is for anyone who is curious about the Bible and would hope to better know and understand it. This includes those who may know next to nothing about the scriptures now and who are ready to get started. The Cathedral clergy will offer introductions to specific books as a point of entry into broader questions of scripture’s faith, history, and interpretation. Participants are asked to prepare for each week by reading the book or books that will be the focus for the presentation.
  • Coloring with Jane Hankins (Staff Lounge): Want to clear your mind and get your creative juices flowing?  Join artist Jane Hankins for a laid-back hour of coloring and conversation with her new coloring books.  For ages 12- 122.

Insights Presents: Donald Miller

Insights Presents Donald Miller, Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cathedral. Reserve your tickets here or at the parish office.

Donald Miller is a student of story. He's the author of New York Times Best Sellers: "Blue Like Jazz," "A Million Miles in a Thousand Years," and "Scary Close." He co-wrote the major motion picture "Blue Like Jazz" which debuted at the SXSW Film Festival and was listed as one of the top four movies to get you through freshman year by USA Today. He has served on The Presidential Task Force for Fatherhood and Healthy Families, a joint effort between government and the private sector to rewrite the story of fatherlessness in America. Currently, he helps people live a better story at www.storylineblog.com and helps leaders grow their businesses at www.storybrand.com. Donald lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, Betsy, and their chocolate lab, Lucy.

Trinity Women

The Fall 2016 Trinity Church Women social will be at the home of Jennifer Wilson-Harvey, Thursday, October 13th at 5:00.  Address: 2201 North Spruce Street.  This is a very casual gathering of the women of Trinity designed simply for fun and fellowship, and to develop or deepen relationships within our church community.  A nibble or bottle of wine is appreciated, but not required. Saturday at Trinity Cathedral

Wedding Ceremony Announcement

Linda Brown and Leigh Cole warmly invite all of the Trinity Cathedral family to a Witnessing and Blessing of their Marriage vows.  They were married in Denver, CO in a civil ceremony in July. The ceremony will be Saturday, October 15, 11 a.m., in the Cathedral. A Eucharist service will be included with the celebration of their vows, and a catered reception in Morrison Hall will follow.

  • What’s That Ringing in Your Ears? (Conference Room): Tower Bells Change Ringing is fun, physical, and mentally stimulating.  This 4-week class will expose you to the art, the fellowship, the history, and the demands of this ancient liturgical practice.
