Join us for a workshop based on Brené Brown's book "The Gift's of Imperfection". The weekend retreat will be held at Camp Mitchell on September 25 - 27, 2015. Annie Burton leads this wonderful opportunity to explore Wholehearted Living.
Rally Day and the Ministry Fair

This year, Rally Day and the Ministry Fair are combining!
Beginning immediately after the 9:00 service on September 13 in Morrison Hall, join us for a fun time as we gear up for a great fall! Learn about all of the many different opportunities you can plug into at Trinity to serve, learn and grow.
Over 25 booths will be set up for you to learn and ask questions.
- The youth will be selling t-shirts and other Trinity swag for fundraisers for their summer mission trip to Guatemala.
- Tickets for the INSIGHTS series will be available to purchase.
- Information and sign up for all adult fall classes will be available.
- Delicious food will be prepared by Chalmer Wayland and his crew!
- This year, the Rally Day festivities will be in place of Adult Formation.
Children will attend classes as usual. Don’t miss the fun!

The committee has been working during the month of July to organize visits to the parishes of the candidates for Dean and Rector.
New Banners
July 31, 2015
On Pentecost Sunday, we dedicated a set of 14 processional banners, a gift from Charliss Russ. There is a brochure available on the back tables in the church that provides information on the meaning of the holy day/season the banner represents, as well as information on where in the church the inspiration for the banner designs can be found.
We are using our new banner for the Season after Pentecost.

Religious Freedom: Deepening the Conversation
Note from Dr. Keller: Both in our state and nationwide, this Spring the scope and limits of religious freedom have been a topic of much political discussion. As a priest, I’ve not been afraid of controversy, but I found myself wary of this one—concerned and perplexed. Many friends were strongly committed to one side—by overwhelming vote, our Diocesan Convention opposed a piece of legislation (House Bill 1228) that purported to protect religious freedom. I abstained, as the topic seemed to me to involve a set of very important, complex questions.

The committee has completed individual video interviews of the candidates for our next Dean and Rector. The next step in the process is personal visits by committee members to selected candidates’ parishes.
